Our customers – which include many Fortune 500 corporations and major government agencies – use our technology to derive tangible economic benefits through increased safety, security, productivity and operational efficiency.  We are looking for a highly motivated Sales & Marketing Coordinator to join our Sales & Marketing Department.  

This is a key role within the Sales & Marketing organization focused in 2 primary areas:

  • Help to increase company sales & profitability by supporting sales activities;
  • Assist in creating interest and demand for the company’s products by assisting with marketing activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Update, maintain, and manage SalesForce.com. This position requires extensive interaction and data work within SalesForce.com, including weekly reporting of sales pipeline and various other sales and lead metrics. Develop necessary skill to be a power user of SalesForce.com.
  • Review SalesForce.com on a weekly basis to identify and highlight leads, opportunities, and other tasks that have not been followed up as required. Recommend and develop tools to track progress on important sales and marketing activities.
  • Lead tracking ownership including continuous management to ensure follow up, reporting and successful movement throughout the sales cycle.
  • Help to increase company sales & profitability by researching and managing target prospect lists; tracking of dealer/partner activities and data entry to support those initiatives.
  • Be the primary liaison for the worldwide sales team by becoming the primary point of contact, proposal support, and general support as identified. Includes new hires and planning of on-boarding schedules.
  • Develop skills to utilize key sales tools including the “quoter” and ROI estimator. Provide support on the use of these tools as required for sales team.
  • Support the development of custom presentations for sales and marketing.
  • Sales team communication with specific deliverables, creating follow up and accountability as necessary. Attendance tracking for sales events.
  • Assist with marketing materials, including collateral inventory of sales collateral, sales training materials (external & internal), Powerpoint presentations, PR/IR packages, certified dealer/partner packages, etc.
  • Able to utilize various marketing technologies in a back up capacity. Responsible for maintaining the marketing area of the company intranet.
  • Event planning & support. Internal sales meetings to include researching hotels, creating cost summaries, travel evaluation, and team communication.
  • General support in executing marketing campaigns. Assist in tracking outbound marketing activities (direct response mail/email, other lead generation mechanisms, product launches, branding, etc.).
  • Help to maintain consistent corporate image throughout all corporate product lines, promotional materials, events, including advising others on branding guidelines. Ensure all messaging content is consistent and reflects desired image and message.
  • Various administrative duties including: executive support, invoice & PO processing, shipping, on-site meeting & travel coordination, expense reports and various report and log maintenance. Responsible for maintaining the marketing area of the company intranet.
  • Operate independently to drive tasks to completion on predefined schedule. This includes identifying issues with supporting resources required to complete tasks and escalating as required to achieve overall schedule.

Requirements:

  • A bachelors degree is preferred with a minimum of 3-5 years of applicable experience.
  • He/She should possess outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Strong organizational skills and CRM database experience (preferably SalesForce.com).
  • Intermediate/advanced skills in Excel, Word, Powerpoint is mandatory.
  • A plus would be strong proficiencies in Adobe graphics applications.
  • Experience with sales and/or sales support of B2B sales & marketing, software, technology and/or wireless products is also highly desirable.

This position reports directly to Senior Marketing Leadership.
