Account Manager- Texas

Our customers – which include many Fortune 500 corporations and major government agencies – use our technology to derive tangible economic benefits through increased safety, security, productivity and operational efficiency.  We are looking for a highly motivated Account Manager to join our Sales & Marketing Department. This AM should be based out of Texas and will cover the South West territory (LA, TX, AR, MO, OK, KS).

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and follow up marketing generated leads to sell wireless monitoring and tracking systems to various targeted industries;
  • Develop and execute strategies to penetrate new accounts in territory;
  • Developing and implementing detailed account strategies, responsible for the management and co-ordination of all sales activities at one or more key accounts to meet and exceed financial objectives;
  • Overseeing/executing the proposal management process from opportunity identification to contract award;
  • Establishing and growing business relationships with key decision makers. Identifying and developing strong relationships, and appropriately utilizing advocates.

Requirements:

  • BA or BS Degree;
  • Top Notch presentation skills;
  • Minimum of 8 - 10 years successful account management experience preferably selling technology based solutions in industrial environments Technologies such as Warehouse Management or Supply Chain software, wireless communications, especially RFID are preferred;
  • A strong track record in industrial vehicle markets utilizing technology enhancements in manufacturing, distribution and heavy industry will be a plus;
  • Strong negotiation and prospecting skills;
  • Ability to meet/exceed sales goals;
  • High sense of creativity and sales planning;
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Overall high motivation for selling and have sold high value solutions by leveraging compelling Return on Investment (ROI) calculations;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and grow sales volume;
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships;
  • Candidates should be able to drive sales campaigns that guide prospects through system analysis and financial justifications resulting in customer investment in ID Systems solutions;
  • High energy level+.
