Our customers – which include many Fortune 500 corporations and major government agencies – use our technology to derive tangible economic benefits through increased safety, security, productivity and operational efficiency.  We are looking for a highly motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our Sales Department.  

Responsibilities:

  • Increase sales and profitability
  • Call prospects and suspects to qualify potential sales opportunities including heavy phone calling to a wide range of cold, warm and hot prospects at large organizations with titles ranging from manager to EVP/VP
  • Respond to inbound sales leads
  • Conduct follow-up calls in support of direct marketing campaigns
  • Research and acquire target prospect lists
  • Interact extensively with online sales automation application by maintaining, managing and extracting reports from SalesForce.com
  • Support other sales and marketing activities
  • Help identify and acquire targeted business-to-business databases, trade subscription lists, and other potential sources for prospecting
  • Work with 3rd party sources of lead development, prospecting, and mass communication tools, including mass emailers
  • Help conduct in-depth research on markets and prospects
  • Regularly report on activities to senior sales, marketing and corporate management

Requirements:

  • BA or BS with 3+ years experience in related position
  • Outstanding verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of Applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficient with SalesForce.com a plus
  • Experience with sales and/or sales support of software, high-technology and/or wireless products is highly desirable
  • Proficient cold-calling and telemarketing experience also preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of self-disciplined commitment to excellence and goal achievement
  • Detailed oriented organization and follow-up skills, personal communication/salesmanship skills
  • The ability to succeed in a dynamically changing, fast-paced work environment
