Asset Intelligence, a subsidiary of I.D. ID Systems utilizes a team approach for the management of Geographic and Vertical Territories. This team consists of an outside sale resource (Territory Manager), a technical resource (Performance Services Engineer) for pre-sales activities and post-sales services, a post sales resource (Program Manager) to assure Customer implementation and satisfaction, and an Inside Sales Representative.

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for helping increase company sales & profitability through: coordination with the team in the territory, calling on prospects and suspects to qualify and quantify potential sales opportunities; responding to inbound sales leads; making follow-up calls in support of direct marketing campaigns; researching and acquiring target prospect lists; interacting extensively with online sales automation application, and supporting other sales and marketing activities. Primary potential career paths: outside sales and regional account management.

Responsibilities:

  • Heavy phone calling to a wide range of cold, warm and hot prospects at large organizations (Fortune 1000, government, international) with titles ranging from manager to EVP/VP
  • Assist in the expansion of IDSY footprint in the current Customer base
  • Help maintain, manage and extract reports from SalesForce.com online sales automation system
  • Participate with Marketing in identifying and targeted business-to-business databases, trade subscription lists, and other potential sources for prospecting
  • Work with 3rd-party sources of lead development, prospecting, and mass communication tools, including mass e-mailers
  • Help conduct in-depth research on markets and prospects by being a conduit back to the territory and the Company
  • Regularly report on activities to senior sales, marketing, and corporate managem

Requirements:

  • BA or BS degree, with 3+ years of experience
  • He/She should possess outstanding oral communication skills and strong organizational abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and SalesForce.com preferred but not required
  • Experience with sales and/or sales support of software, high-technology and/or wireless products is also highly desirable
  • Demonstrated track record of self-disciplined commitment to excellence and goal achievement, detailed-oriented organization and follow-up skills, personal communication/salesmanship skills, and the ability to succeed in a dynamically changing, fast-paced Team environment
