Our customers – which include many Fortune 500 corporations and major government agencies – use our technology to derive tangible economic benefits through increased safety, security, productivity and operational efficiency.  We are looking for a highly motivated RF Engineer to join our Customer Service Department.  

Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, install and test proprietary wireless asset management system
• Design, develop and deploy complex integrated network utilizing Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) transceivers capable of two-way radio transmissions for real-time asset monitoring and tracking
• Develop protocols for interfacing with digital LAN, WAN or Internet
• Study proposals to develop system with appropriate configuration and scale per client needs applying complex wireless engineering principles and research data; propose network plans and project specifications; study network architecture enhancements and performance criteria; analyze data to calculate design requirements and determine feasibility of proposals
• Prepare system layout and detailed drawings/schematics of design. Coordinate network deployments
• Responsible for QA/product testing: plan and develop experimental testing programs; direct personnel in testing & analyzing to determine if designs meet performance specifications; design modifications as required; write documentation to describe evaluation, testing, and correction

Requirements:

• MSEE + 1 year experience
• Travel 10 - 12 weeks per year
• Technologies such as Warehouse Management or Supply Chain software, wireless communications, especially RFID are preferred
• A strong background in industrial vehicle markets utilizing technology enhancements in manufacturing, distribution and heavy industry will be a plus
• Ability to work independently
