AvRamp™ is a patented, airport-proven system built specifically for controlling, tracking and managing aircraft ground support equipment and other airport vehicles - including baggage tractors, fuel trucks, catering vans, tow tractors, mobile stairs, TSUs, GPUs, APUs, maintenance equipment, emergency vehicles, port authority vehicles, etc.

AvRamp™ is modular, available in an almost infinite number of combinations, including:

• Peak fleet analysis, real-time vehicle location tracking (indoors and outside), automated text dispatching and task assignment, and other directed-work, productivity and visibility tools
• Geo-fencing to prevent vehicle runway incursions, automated on-vehicle and system-wide alerts, remote vehicle lock-out, and other security management tools
• Access control creates accountability by restricting vehicle use to authorized operators
• Driver ID, electronic OSHA checklists, impact sensing, speed sensing, and other safety management tools
• Motion/idle detection, load sensing, travel distance monitoring, peak utilization analysis, and other productivity measurement tools

Core System Components

A Vehicle Asset Communicator™ (VAC™), installed on each vehicle, is the primary communication tool between the driver, the vehicle and management. It is individually “smart”, intelligently collecting, transmitting and reacting to key vehicle data, so you can decide what vehicle activity you want to manage, and precisely how you would like to manage it. This self-contained intelligence also allows the VAC to operate independently, regardless of wireless communication connectivity or network availability.

A Wireless Asset Manager, mounted strategically around your facility, is an intelligent wireless communication system that automatically collects and transmits information between the AvRamp™ system software and an unlimited number of GSE vehicles. Wireless Asset Managers have proven to reduce the burden on corporate IT departments, provide the lowest total cost of ownership, and allow unlimited data collection without reliance on other systems or public networks.

The AvRamp™ Management Console is a software suite that gives you visibility and control of your GSE, including real-time vehicle location tracking, automated task assignment, a wide range of management tools, and comprehensive, flexible data reporting.
